Transform your outdoor space with a professionally fitted garden deck. Anthony Fencing installs timber and composite decking across Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Handforth, Cheadle and the wider Cheshire area. From simple raised platforms to multi-level decked areas, every job is built to last.
Pressure-treated timber decking — classic, warm look with long-lasting durability. Composite decking — low maintenance, splinter-free and weather resistant. Raised and ground-level decks fitted to your garden layout. Balustrades, steps and built-in seating available. All work fully treated and finished.
Timber decking transforms a garden into a usable outdoor room, and Anthony Fencing builds quality decking across Wilmslow and the surrounding Cheshire area. Whether you want a simple raised platform for a seating area or a larger deck that flows out from the house, we design and build it to suit your space. Good decking starts with a solid frame. We build on properly supported, treated timber joists set at the right spacing, so the deck feels firm underfoot with no bounce or movement. Cutting corners on the frame is the most common reason decking fails early, and it is something we never do. We use treated timber decking boards that stand up to the Cheshire climate, fixed down neatly and finished cleanly around edges and any steps. Where a deck needs balustrades or steps, we build them to match, so the whole thing looks of a piece rather than added on afterwards. Decking works beautifully alongside fencing and a pergola to create a complete, private outdoor space, and we can take on the whole project together so everything is co-ordinated and finished to the same standard. That saves you arranging separate trades and gives a more consistent result. Every deck is built to last, with the same attention to foundations and finish that goes into our fencing. We talk through the design, the materials and the price with you before we start, with no pressure and no obligation. Before any boards go down, we make sure the base is right. On uneven or sloping ground we build the supporting structure to bring the deck level and solid, so the finished surface is safe and comfortable to use. Proper drainage and airflow under the deck are built in from the start, which keeps the timber sound for longer. A deck is an investment in your garden, so it pays to have it built properly the first time. We use quality treated timber throughout, fix everything securely, and finish edges, steps and corners neatly so the result looks professionally done. We can also advise on treatment and upkeep so your decking keeps its appearance for years. Whether it is a small deck for a bistro set or a larger entertaining space, we build it to suit how you actually want to use the garden. We are happy to take on decking as a standalone project or as part of a larger garden makeover alongside fencing and a pergola. Taking it all on together means one point of contact, a co-ordinated finish, and no juggling separate trades. Whatever the size of the job, we agree the design and price with you first, build it properly on solid foundations, and leave the site clean when we finish.
